Empire Auto Care

Everything was going fine until the air conditioning compressor failed after a year and needed to be replaced under warranty. However, the real problem arose when I refused to replace the A/C receiver-drier. I was told the compressor would fail again if I didn't authorize that replacement. They quoted me nearly $1,000 for the receiver-drier and labor; I consider this an excessive and unjustifiable charge, especially considering the part itself can be bought for around $50. I declined the additional repair and made it clear that I only wanted the faulty compressor replaced under the existing warranty. The dealership also performed a full inspection of my truck without my prior authorization. That inspection led to recommendations for several additional repairs, including the A/C receiver-drier, fuel sensor, cabin air filter, and brake rotors. I did not authorize these services because they had no connection to my request for the warranty compressor replacement. The way the situation was handled left me with the strong impression that they were using my warranty claim to generate extra revenue. Once I declined the recommended repairs, my warranty coverage was voided. This is unacc

They were super helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. I needed a lot of diagnostics and repairs after an awful experience at a different mechanic, and Empire was able to troubleshoot and resolve the issues quickly. Special thanks to Denziel for being super attentive and explaining everything so I could understand and be comfortable! I will be going to Empire for anything car-related from now on.

Empire did a great job on my recent service. Prompt, courteous, quality work at a very fair price. I came in for one issue and they went above and beyond to make sure my tires were properly inflated too. I didn’t have to ask! Highly recommend. 5 ⭐️

My car would not start and the roadside assistance service told me that my battery needed replacing. They were charging $250 to put a new battery in. I went to Tires Plus as a follow-up. The customer care was exceptional. I was updated on the work being done. The diagnostic was done on my car and there were no problems found: Battery was strong. Appreciated their integrity. Means a lot.

This is probably the best mechanic auto repair shop in broward. I feel that I can trust them to fix my car and not just find reasons to charge me for things that are not necessary. For example on my last visit my battery was being drained. The shop supervisor was kind and checked my battery and alternator. He suggested that replace the connection wires to the battery which would have been a 100 dollars or so. When he took the car back he then mentioned that it may have just been like a cushion piece that was left on. He took it off instead of charging me the 100$ for the new connection wires. He then said the Alternator is the issue. I really appreciated that because although it was just 100 dollars I really didn’t have the funds to drop on that. The alternator was under warranty so that was taken care of by the shop that sold it to me a year ago. The take away from this experience is that Empire Auto repair practice integrity which for me speaks volumes. I only bring my car here now for repairs. Thank you 🙏🏻
